Pacers' Jeremy Evans: Looks good to go for camp

Evans (shoulder) is expected to enter training camp at full strength, Scott Agness of Vigilant Sports reports.

Analysis:

New Pacers coach Nate McMillan said Wednesday that the entire team will enter training camp with a clean bill of health, thereby meaning that Evans is no longer recovering from the torn labrum in his right shoulder that required season-ending surgery last March. Prior to going down with the injury, Evans wasn't a member of the Mavericks' rotation, appearing in only 30 games and averaging 2.4 points and 1.8 rebounds in 8.4 minutes per contest. While his guaranteed contract for 2016-17 will put him in good position to make the Pacers' 15-man roster this season after he was traded to the team in July, Evans once again figures to serve as a deep reserve.
