Thunder's Cameron Payne: No longer facing restrictions

Payne (foot) isn't facing any restrictions in advance of training camp, Royce Young of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Thunder GM Sam Presti told the media Wednesday that Payne has been playing in five-on-five scrimmages of late and has fully recovered from July surgery to repair a Jones fracture in his right foot. The Thunder, who begin training camp Saturday, will count on Payne to serve as the primary backup to Russell Westbrook at point guard in his second NBA season.
