Hawks' Ryan Kelly: Agrees with Atlanta on camp deal

Kelly agreed Friday with the Hawks on a non-guaranteed contract, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

Kelly recently worked out with the Hawks and will be given the opportunity to compete for a roster berth in training camp, where he'll likely battle Mike Muscala, Walter Tavares and Matt Costello for one of the final spots in the team's frontcourt. The 25-year-old Kelly saw action in 147 games for the Lakers over the last three seasons, posting averages of 6.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 20.5 minutes per game. However, he's shot just 38.1 percent from the field during that span.
