Durant gets advice from Willie Mays before 1st pitch

Kevin Durant seems to be adjusting well to life in the Bay Area.

The Golden State Warriors' newest superstar was on hand at AT&T Park on Friday night to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the San Francisco Giants hosted the St. Louis Cardinals. So, of course, the always diligent Durant made sure to hone his baseball skills by seeking out help from perhaps the greatest athlete in San Francisco sports history: Willie Mays.

The "Say Hey Kid" taught Durant the wonders of the fastball, which KD immediately practiced in the Giants' facilities. All that hard work paid off, as he went out and fired a strike from the rubber.
