Hawks' Richard Solomon: Signs deal with Hawks

Solomon has agreed to a non-guaranteed, training camp contract with the Hawks, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

Solomon went undrafted out of California in 2014, and spent the 2014-15 season with the Thunder's D-League team, averaging 8.5 points and 6.9 rebounds in 18 minutes. He spent the following season in Japan, further developing his skills. Solomon is a bit of a long shot to make the Hawks' opening night roster due to a loaded frontcourt, but he could provide bench depth if injuries occur later in the season.
