Pelicans' He Tianju: Gets camp invite from New Orleans

Tianju agreed Thursday to a training camp deal with the Pelicans, Justin Verrier of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Tianju, a 6-foot-9 forward, suited up for the Chinese Basketball Association's Liaoning Flying Leopards last season, averaging 12.2 points and 3.9 boards in 32.1 minutes per game. As a member of the Pelicans' summer league roster in 2015, he has some familiarity with the organization, but he doesn't have a realistic chance of winning a roster spot. Look for him to head back to the CBA once camp concludes.
