Trail Blazers' Greg Stiemsma: Inks camp deal with Portland

Stiemsma signed a training camp contract with the Trail Blazers on Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

Since going undrafted out of Wisconsin in 2008, Stiemsma has bounced around the NBA over parts of four seasons, logging 203 career appearances with the Celtics, Timberwolves, Pelicans and Raptors. He last appeared in the league in 2014-15 and didn't play anywhere professionally this past season after being cut by the Magic in training camp last fall. Look for a similar outcome to happen with the Trail Blazers, who have four players on guaranteed contracts (Mason Plumlee, Festus Ezeli, Ed Davis and Meyers Leonard) who are capable of playing center.
