Mavericks' Devin Harris: Will be limited to start training camp

Harrs (toe) expects to be limited during the first week of training camp, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Harris underwent offseason surgery on his toe in May and continues to go through the rehabilitation process. He was able to resume light running at the end of August and has shown improvement with his condition, but it appears he'll need a little extra time to fully recover. Harris should be back to 100 percent health by the time camp concludes, so don't expect him to face any restrictions once the regular season kicks off. Nonetheless, Harris will likely see a drop in playing time this season with J.J. Barea and Seth Curry expected to rank ahead of him as coach Rick Carlisle's preferred guards off the bench.
