Report: Heat working on potential solutions for Bosh return

Chris Bosh's absence continues to linger like a dark cloud over the Miami Heat.

For a second straight season, Bosh was shut down after the All-Star break due to blood clots. All signs suggest Bosh wants to return, but the Heat have yet to clear him - and training camp is only weeks away.

At the very least the two sides are in discussions, with Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reporting that the team is working on potential solutions that would see their star player back in uniform.

Bosh's condition has reportedly improved, but for the moment, discussions remain focused on the Heat's willingness to allow Bosh to play while taking blood thinners. The 13-year veteran would not be able to play without first getting clearance from Heat doctors.

In the meantime, Bosh has been busy hitting the gym on his own. He shared a picture last week working out with former teammate Dwyane Wade, and reports indicate that Bosh expects to eventually receive clearance.

But for now, the stalemate continues.
