Report: Timberwolves to work out Dorell Wright, Rasual Butler

The Minnesota Timberwolves will work out free-agent small forwards Dorell Wright and Rasual Butler during the upcoming week, ESPN's Darren Wolfson reported Saturday.

Wright joined the Heat late last season, playing in five postseason games for Miami. The 30-year-old averaged 3.2 points and 1.2 rebounds in just 3.8 minutes during the playoffs, shooting 50 percent from the field and 40 percent from deep.

Butler appeared in 46 games for the San Antonio Spurs in 2015-16, averaging 2.7 points and 1.2 rebounds while shooting 47.1 percent from the floor.

With little depth on the wing, the Timberwolves could use either Butler or Wright to help strengthen a talented but inexperienced unit.
