While his recent tweets have suggested otherwise, Evan Fournier wants everyone to know that he's not upset with his avatar in NBA 2K17.

I thought it was funny," Fournier told the Orlando Magic's Twitter account. "Some people maybe thought I was mad. I thought it was hilarious. It's just not me."

Fournier wasn't the only one who found the avatar funny, as his character has made its way into a number of memes over the past week.

Although Fournier may have focused his attention on his avatar's appearance, the majority of players around the league have been more concerned with their rating in the game, with many voicing their displease on social media.

"I think most of the players take the ratings too seriously," Fournier added. "I mean, it's a video game guys. It's supposed to be fun."

Whether Fournier was originally upset or not, the game's creators took notice of his tweets, as the 23-year-old's avatar has been updated since.
