Bucks re-sign Steve Novak

Steve Novak is staying put in Milwaukee.

The Bucks announced Monday they've re-signed the veteran sharpshooter, but didn't disclose terms of the deal.

The 33-year-old forward joined the Bucks in February and suited up in just three games before suffering an MCL sprain that caused him to miss the rest of the 2015-16 campaign.

The Marquette grad is best known for his long-range shooting, made famous in this rap:

He's averaged 4.7 points and 1.3 rebounds while shooting 43.8 percent from the field and 43.1 percent from deep over 10 NBA seasons.

He and Jason Terry, who recently signed with Milwaukee, will serve as mentors on the young squad.

One of the players they'll help guide is 21-year-old Giannis Antetokounmpo, who sent Novak an encouraging tweet:
