Crowder trolls Knicks' Jackson for not trading for him in 2014

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

You win some, you lose some. Right, Phil Jackson?

The New York Knicks' team president revealed to Charley Rosen of todaysfastbreak.com that he could have landed forward Jae Crowder in the 2014 trade that sent Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton to the Dallas Mavericks for Jose Calderon and pieces. The package from Dallas included a second-round pick the team owed the Boston Celtics, which Jackson chose to acquire instead of Crowder, who has since become an integral part of the Celtics' rotation.

The Zen Master admitted that he should have taken Crowder, with his thought process at the time being that he probably wouldn't see the floor much playing behind All-Star Carmelo Anthony in the rotation.

Well, Crowder has clearly been made aware of this miscalculation, taking to his Instagram account on Friday evening to mock Jackson for sleeping on him two years ago.

Crowder had a breakout 2015-16 campaign in Beantown, averaging career highs in minutes (31.6), points (14.2), field-goal percentage (44.3), rebounds (4.1), assists (1.8), and steals (1.8).
