John Wall has chosen to officially clear the air after a number of unflattering reports about him surfaced earlier in the week.

The Washington Wizards point guard created headlines on Wednesday and Thursday, as multiple reports indicated he was jealous of the large contracts James Harden and his teammate Bradley Beal signed this summer. Clearly irked by the hearsay, Wall took to social media to put the rumors to bed.

"That doesn't matter to me," Wall announced on Bleacher Report's Uninterrupted. "If I produce like I'm supposed to on the basketball court and take care of myself and image, I'm going to be fine with making money. That's not why I play the game of basketball. Bradley Beal got more money - I'm not mad. I'm happy he's my teammate. James Harden's contract - I don't care. That's my guy."

While the five-year, $85-million contract Wall signed in 2013 was considered high at the time, salaries have since ballooned, leading the 25-year-old to become significantly underpaid. Although it's understandable for Wall to be frustrated by his current deal, the three-time All-Star insists he has no jealously issues.

"Please don't say I'm watching money," Wall added. "I'm not."
