Adams surprised fans keep bringing up Draymond's kick

Oklahoma City Thunder breakout center Steven Adams has, thankfully, recovered nicely after getting repeatedly pelted below the belt.

The shaggy-haired Kiwi appreciates the concern from the part of fans, but if anything, Adams just wants to get past Draymond Green's infamous low blow.

"They're still there, thankfully," Adams said on a recent Sky Sport New Zealand interview. "Yeah, it was rough, bro. It's funny that it's on a lot of people's minds, though. For like this long people are still thinking about my nuts. It's awesome."

Green's dirty shots became a major storyline of the playoffs, which meant Adams' genitals turned into an unwilling prop. Green somehow ducked punishment the first time he kneed Adams below the waist, but then Green had the gall to deliver a swift karate kick in the following game.

Incredibly, Green wasn't suspended for the second infraction, but his nutcracking ways did eventually come back to bit him as Green's third nut shot of the playoffs culminated in a suspension in the Finals. That led to Golden State's downfall after going up 3-1 against Cleveland.

But that's all in the past. Green never did apologize to Adams, but the two men have since moved on.

"There were no apologies from either of us. Just a congratulations," Adams said last May. "There's no hard ... there's no thing off the court. We aren't going to hate each other. We aren't going to hate. On the court, we hate each other ... off the court it's fine."
