LeBron: If J.R. Smith were an animal, he'd be a dolphin

LeBron James joined hosts Jesse Williams and Stefan Marolachakis for the first episode of their Open Run podcast Wednesday, which included a hilarious discussion about what animal J.R. Smith would be.

James' response was a tad surprising.

"J.R. is like a dolphin, man," he said, according to Slam. "You know why? I watch a lot of these ... what is it called, Open Water? Or National Geographic, and dolphins like, they're really killers. Sharks are afraid of them. But, they gotta have a group around them to become the best of their ability. ... And (they're) incredibly smart."

The Cleveland Cavaliers star also talked about his dream of owning an NBA team, losing Game 4 of The Finals, and the athletes he looked up to most as a child during the nearly 90-minute episode.
