Pelicans' Jrue Holiday: Working out without restriction

Holiday (eye) said Tuesday that he's resumed working out without any restrictions, John Reid of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Analysis:

Holiday underwent season-ending surgery in April to repair a fractured right orbital wall, a procedure that required doctors to insert a metal plate beneath his eye. With four and a half months to recover from the ailment, Holiday looks to be in sound condition heading into training camp in the fall, though he's considering wearing goggles during the upcoming season to provide further protection to the eye, according to Jim Eichenhofer of Pelicans.com. The point guard has battled numerous injuries over the course of his tenure with the Pelicans with 107 games missed over the last three seasons, so he'll once again make for a risky roster cornerstone for fantasy teams in 2016-17.
