The repurposed photo of former San Antonio Spurs All-Star Tim Duncan promoting Keller Williams Realty, which he never agreed to be a part of, has cost one agent his job.

Duncan, who recently retired from the NBA after 19 seasons in the Lone Star State, has settled his lawsuit, with agent Robert Keller, who created the image for the realtor's Facebook page, resigning from his position.

"We worked closely with Mr. Duncan's legal team to resolve the matter in a quick and professional manner and the suit has now been settled," said Sarah Marshall, the spokeswoman for Williams, according to My San Antonio's Patrick Danner.

Michael Bernard, one of Duncan's lawyers, added: "I think the issue is over. Elder apologized for his actions, and I think we're satisfied and moving on."

Elder declined to comment on the settlement.

An undisclosed amount of money was paid to Duncan's party to cover his legal expenses, Bernard told Danner.
