Thunder's Morrow: 'I didn't feel betrayed' by Durant leaving

Kevin Durant's decision to join the Golden State Warriors shocked a lot of people, and angered a great many, too - including some of his former teammates on the Oklahoma City Thunder.

However, Anthony Morrow is not one of them.

"With me personally, we talked all offseason, and it really wasn't about basketball, like nothing was really basketball," he recently said on SiriusXM NBA Radio, as transcribed by CSN Bay Area.

"It was just whatever stuff's going on with our families. For him to make that decision, I didn't feel betrayed or anything like that. I think we were more shocked at where he went. I think that was more of a shock factor."

The 30-year-old swingman further explained why it's not his place to be upset about Durant's exodus.

"Other than that, it is what it is. I didn't feel like he owed me anything. But at the same time, it is what it is. It's business, it's basketball. That's that man's career, that's that man's life and he made his own decision as a man. Like it or love it, hate it or love it, he made his decision," he said.

Morrow, a former Warrior, spent the past two seasons in OKC. He averaged 5.6 points in 13.6 minutes off the bench in 2015-16.
