Watch: Harden confronts heckler accusing him of flopping

Cary Edmondson / USA TODAY Sports

When you get to the charity stripe as often as James Harden does, chances are you have a tendency to embellish contact to create those opportunities for yourself. Unfortunately, that style of play can often brand a player as a "flopper," whether it's deserved or not.

It's that reputation the Houston Rockets All-Star can't seem to shake, even when he's hitting the courts during the offseason at the Drew League in Los Angeles.

A boisterous fan who was sitting courtside during a recent game felt the need to call him out after he believed Harden flopped on a 3-point attempt. Rather than ignore the sideline chirping, Harden approached the man and explained that he was hit on the possession, which the fan didn't buy in the slightest.

The bearded 26-year-old shooting guard finished with a stellar line of 42 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals en route to a victory for his team.
