Lakers' Larry Nance: To begin shooting later this week

Nance (wrist) posted on his personal Twitter account that he thinks he'll be able to resume shooting later this week.

Analysis:

Nance sprained his right wrist during the Las Vegas Summer League and has spent the last month rehabbing the injury. The Lakers fully expect him to be ready for training camp, and the fact that he's close to shooting again gives credence to that notion. Nance submitted a promising rookie season, but may struggle to gain more minutes in 2016-17 since he'll have to compete with Julius Randle, Luol Deng and Brandon Ingram for court time.
