While fans of the Oklahoma City Thunder continue to mourn the loss of Kevin Durant, All-NBA point guard Russell Westbrook is looking to move forward, with his former teammate now in Golden State.

Westbrook appears focused on forgetting Durant's existence altogether, going as far as to delete the goodbye text message he received from the 6-foot-9 forward upon his departure, according to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski:

"No nostalgia, no reflection and no regret: In Westbrook’s world, Durant had been deleted like his old teammate’s text message saying goodbye on the way to Golden State."

Reports surfaced last month that Westbrook was angered by Durant's decision to leave him in Oklahoma City, and Durant has admitted that their relationship "won't ever be the same."

While Durant's career with the Thunder is officially over, Westbrook appears more committed to a future in Oklahoma City, agreeing to a three-year renegotiation extension with the ball club on Thursday.

The NBA has yet to release its schedule for the upcoming season, but rest assured even the most casual of fans will be tuning in to watch the first matchup between the two.
