After spending eight seasons together as teammates, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are going their separate ways.

Durant took his talents to form a superteam in Golden State, while Westbrook elected to continue building his legacy in Oklahoma City by signing an extension.

Save for a hearty laugh, Westbrook has stayed silent on Durant's exit. In similar fashion, Durant remained mum when questioned about Westbrook's move.

When Durant was asked if he congratulated Westbrook on his new deal, OKC's former franchise player answered, "Nah, that's a touchy subject. I'll see once everything dies down."

Unfortunately, Westbrook declined his invitation to play on Team USA well before Durant made his choice to leave. One can only imagine the bitter tension that would set in between Westbrook and the three Warriors.
