Pacers' Paul George: Will be ready to go by Saturday for Olympics

Team USA coach Mike Krzyzewski said George (calf) will be ready to play in the team's 2016 Summer Olympic opener Saturday against China, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

George was sidelined for Monday's exhibition win over Nigeria, but his absence appears to have been strictly precautionary. The Pacers swingman should be a regular in Krzyzewski's rotation during the Olympics, but won't be asked to play significant minutes on a deep United States roster.
