Kevin Durant still hasn't made his Oracle Arena debut in a Golden State Warriors uniform yet, but he did get a feel for his new home crowd during Tuesday's 107-57 Team USA exhibition victory over China. Durant predictably got a rousing cheer from the start, one that lasted all of the 19:22 he spent on the floor.

"It was amazing," Durant told reporters afterward. "The atmosphere was great, energy was great. The fans showed me major love, so I appreciate that."

The most recent NBA contest Durant played was also in the venerable Oakland facility, a 96-88 Oklahoma City Thunder loss to the Warriors in Game 7 of May's Western Conference finals.

"I'm not going to lie, it felt a little weird for these fans to be cheering me on like that," Durant added. "Obviously being somewhere for so long and then making a change."

Durant scored all of his 13 points in the game's first 14 minutes.

"I didn’t lose sleep over today," he said. "I just wanted to be myself … I knew I was going to pull the first shot since like yesterday. Luckily it went in."
