Coach K didn't sound happy about DeRozan's 360 attempt

DeMar DeRozan's comical 360-degree dunk attempt in the waning minutes of Team USA's 107-57 win over China on Tuesday night got social media buzzing, but it didn't appear to sit well with Mike Krzyzewski.

While not mentioning DeRozan by name, the U.S. coach suggested afterward that the Americans need to scale things back a little.

"We had a little too much fun out there tonight," Krzyzewski said, according to ESPN's Marc J. Spears. "We have to tone that down a little bit."

The Americans beat China in back-to-back exhibition games by 49 and 50 points, respectively, both times allowing the Chinese to only score 57. With such a chasm in talent, NBA superstars left to their own devices will try bold things like contested two-handed 360 dunk attempts.

It was another Toronto Raptor named Vince Carter, after all, who dunked over a 7-foot-2 Frenchman named Frederic Weis in the 2000 Olympics. And the U.S. was only up by 15 at that point.
