Spurs' Kyle Anderson: Dominates summer league play

Anderson averaged 21.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.4 blocks across 29.2 minutes per game across five summer league contests.

Analysis:

After winning Las Vegas Summer League MVP honors a year ago, Anderson again torched his overmatched competition, putting forth a full stat line while shooting 52.4 percent from the field and 41.5 percent from three-point range. Anderson has proven that he's deserving of a bigger role, but a deep Spurs roster has yet to allow him to do that. The team will have Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, Manu Ginobili and Jonathon Simmons back for the upcoming season, which could prevent Anderson from seeing a significant bump up from the 16.0 minutes per game he averaged in 2015-16. Anderson's spot in the rotation certainly seems secure, but it will probably take an injury or two for his fantasy value to notice a jolt.
