Nets' Isaiah Whitehead: Performs well in summer league outings

Whitehead averaged 8.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in five Las Vegas Summer League appearances.

Analysis:

Whitehead was a fairly consistent performer in his first Las Vegas Summer League. While he only shot 36 percent from the floor, Whitehead knocked down an impressive 42 percent of his three-pointers. It is no secret that the Nets are desperate for talent. Although the team currently has 15 players under contract for the 2016-17 season, Brooklyn did trade up in the draft to snag the Seton Hall star which could work out in his favor. It's far from a guarantee, but his potential alone could very well be the deciding factor that helps him earn a spot on the depleted roster.
