Nets' Chris McCullough: Inefficient in LVSL play

McCullough averaged 10.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game in five Las Vegas Summer League contests.

Analysis:

While the Syracuse product impressed as a rebounder and defender, he converted only 36 percent of his field goals, a concerningly low number for an interior player. McCullough put up a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double in a win over the 76ers but followed up with just four points on 2-of-16 shooting in Saturday's tournament-play loss to Cleveland. The 21-year-old remains a project player as he enters his second NBA season, but considering the Nets position as one of the league's weakest teams, he figures to hold down a fairly consistent bench role, as was the case near the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
