The Democratic National Convention will have some NBA flavor.

Among the long list of speakers at next week's event in Philadelphia are Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, as well as Jason and Jarron Collins.

Abdul-Jabbar remains the NBA's all-time leading scorer in addition to being a 19-time All-Star, six-time MVP, and six-time champion.

Jason Collins became the first openly gay, active NBA player when he appeared in 22 games with the Brooklyn Nets in 2014 after announcing he was gay in Sports Illustrated the year before. The 37-year-old spent parts of 13 NBA seasons with the Nets, Atlanta Hawks, Boston Celtics, Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Washington Wizards.

Jarron, Jason's twin, currently serves as an assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors after enjoying a 10-year career in the Association, himself.

The DNC runs July 25-28, with Hillary Clinton the party's presumptive presidential nominee.
