Nets' Rondae Hollis-Jefferson: Produces for Brooklyn in summer league

Hollis-Jefferson averaged 10.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.2 steals and 2.2 assists in 26.0 minutes per game over the course of five Las Vegas Summer League contests.

Analysis:

As a rookie, Hollis-Jefferson proved to be a bright spot on an otherwise bleak Nets roster, though he was forced to miss nearly two-thirds of the season while recovering from a broken right ankle he suffered in December. The Nets had the 21-year-old participate in summer league as a means of making up some of that lost development time, and as his strong rebound and steal totals indicate, he's already being viewed as the team's best perimeter defender. How much Hollis-Jefferson improves as a shooter from here will ultimately determine what kind of fantasy value he produces, but on a roster short on go-to scoring options, the forward should at least get plenty of touches on the offensive end, even if he's not particularly efficient.
