Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Finishes strongly in Vegas

Murray averaged 19.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists in five Las Vegas Summer League contests.

Analysis:

Murray got off to a sluggish start in Vegas, scoring just 10 points on 7-of-23 shooting through his first two games, but he put up 29, 20 and 29 points over his final three contests, respectively. The Kentucky product shot a fair 42.5 percent from the floor, but knocked down only 27.6 percent of his three-point tries, a figure that's sure to rise as he gains confidence at the pro level. For a non-playoff team, the Nuggets enter 2016-17 with considerable depth, but Murray figures to find his way into consistent minutes at both backcourt spots.
