Timberwolves' Kevin Garnett: Mulling retirement

Garnett (knee) has yet to make a decision regarding his status for the 2016-17 season.

Analysis:

Garnett last played on Jan. 13 before knee soreness kept him out the remainder of the year. It sounds like he currently wants to play another season, but is unsure if his body will be able to hold up. Regardless, given his mentoring role with the young Timberwolves' squad he does not hold any real fantasy value. The team is not in a position where they need a decision any time soon, so Garnett will likely take all the time he needs prior to training camp to decide on what his future will hold.
