Atlanta Hawks rookie DeAndre Bembry will honor his late brother Adrian Potts by wearing No. 95 in his first year in the NBA.

Potts was shot and killed in the siblings' native Charlotte, N.C., on June 11, just 12 days before the Hawks selected Bembry 21st in the NBA Draft. As a result of the tragedy, Bembry did not attend the draft in person.

"It's been a very rough time for me," Bembry told The Associated Press at the time. "That was like my best friend. I just loved that guy and I'm definitely going to put more effort out there just for him."

Bembry could blossom into an impact player, and he's shown an ability to do a bit of everything at Summer League. A 6-foot-6 swingman with a 6-foot-9 wingspan, the former St. Joseph's star possesses top-flight athleticism and top-notch court vision.
