The Boston Celtics are reportedly looking to make a major talent acquisition with All-Stars Russell Westbrook and Blake Griffin appearing on the team's radar, but they're also seemingly willing to make small, under-the-radar moves to strengthen the roster, as well.

The team has reached out to unrestricted free-agent forward Chase Budinger, a source told Sporting News' Sean Deveney.

The seven-year pro spent the 2015-16 campaign suiting up for both the Indiana Pacers and Phoenix Suns, averaging 4.1 points and 2.5 rebounds over 66 total games.

Indiana waived Budinger on March 5, who then signed with Phoenix just three days later.

The 28-year-old Arizona product is a career 35.2 percent 3-point shooter, with the Celtics reportedly searching the market for players who can stretch the floor.
