The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to a one-year deal with free agent guard Randy Foye, league sources told The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Foye split time between the Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder last season, averaging 5.9 points, two assists, and 1.9 rebounds on 35.1 percent shooting in 81 games.

The Nets have completely retooled their backcourt this offseason, saying goodbye to Jarrett Jack, Markel Brown, and Wayne Ellington, and bringing in Foye, Jeremy Lin, Greivis Vasquez, and Joe Harris.

With a lot of uncertainty going into next season, Foye could have an opportunity to start on a Nets team looking to avoid the lottery for the second straight season.
