Australia beats Pac-12 All-Stars for 2nd game in a row

MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) San Antonio point guard Patty Mills scored 29 points and Detroit Pistons center Aron Baynes added 19 on Thursday to lead Australia to a 93-63 win and a two-game exhibition basketball sweep over the Pac-12 All-Stars.

In their last home appearance before heading to the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, the Boomers led 40-28 at halftime and 68-49 after three quarters two nights after beating the all-star team from the Pac-12 conference 92-83.

After missing Tuesday's game because he did not have insurance clearance from his new NBA team, Milwaukee guard Matthew Dellavedova played 18 minutes of Thursday's game and scored two points.

The Pac-12 All-stars were led by guards Tra Holder of Arizona State and Lorenzo Bonam of Utah with nine points each.
