Unrestricted free agent Pablo Prigioni agreed to a two-year deal with the Houston Rockets, league sources told The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The second year of his contract will reportedly be a team option.

This will be the 39-year-old's second stint with the Rockets, having already played for the team for 24 appearances during the 2014-15 regular season.

Prigioni was dealt to the Rockets by the New York Knicks in exchange for Alexey Shved and two second-round picks prior to the trade deadline. He was then sent packing that summer as part of a package to bring Houston point guard Ty Lawson.

In 59 games last season for the Los Angeles Clippers, the Argentinian floor general averaged 2.5 points and 2.2 assists in 13.9 minutes off the bench.

He'll be slotted in as the backup to starter Patrick Beverley barring more additions by the franchise.
