The 2016 ESPY Awards were awfully kind to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.

The King was named Best Male Athlete, beating out Cam Newton, Bryce Harper, and Stephen Curry. He also took home some hardware for Best Championship Performance and Best NBA Player, while the Cavaliers won Best Team.

Not to be outdone, head coach Tyronn Lue emerged with the Best Coach award, despite taking over the Cavaliers just months into the 2015-16 regular season.

James was the catalyst behind the Cavaliers coming back from a 3-1 series deficit in the NBA Finals to defeat the Golden State Warriors. He nearly averaged a triple-double over seven games with 29.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 8.9 assists, along with 2.6 steals and 2.3 blocks on 49.4 percent shooting en route to winning Finals MVP.

This is the third time James has walked away with Best Male Athlete, having won the award in both 2012 and 2013 with the Miami Heat.

Curry was the recipient of the award in 2015, while Kevin Durant won the year before. Along with Dirk Nowitzki in 2011, an NBA talent has won each of the past six years.
