Hawks' Kris Humphries: Agrees to terms with Hawks

Humphries re-signed Monday with the Hawks on a one-year, $4 million contract, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

Humphries spent time with the Hawks, Suns, and Wizards in the 2015-16 season, but he'll start the 2016-17 campaign where he finished the last one. In his 21 appearances with the Hawks, Humphries averaged 6.4 points and 3.4 rebounds across 14.0 minutes per game, before seeing his rotation spot disappear for most of the postseason. With Dwight Howard and Paul Millsap set to start in the frontcourt for the Hawks, Humphries will have to battle with Mike Scott, Tiago Splitter and Mike Muscala for court time off the bench.
