From one Most Valuable Player to another, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors honored Tim Duncan - who retired from the NBA after a 19-year career with the San Antonio Spurs - on Twitter Monday by thanking "The Big Fundamental" for all he did for the game.
Curry and Duncan have crossed paths on the hardwood many times before, including the 2012-13 postseason when the Spurs bounced the Warriors from the Western Conference semifinals in six games.

Even when Golden State won a league-record 73 games during the 2015-16 campaign, Duncan and the Spurs were right there on their tail for a majority of the season, finishing with a franchise-best 67 victories themselves.
