Trail Blazers' Meyers Leonard: Signs four-year deal with Trail Blazers

Leonard (shoulder) signed a four year, $41 million contract with the Trail Blazers on Sunday, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reports.

Analysis:

Leonard, who has drafted with the 11th overall pick by Portland back in the 2012 NBA Draft, will remain in Rip City for at least four more seasons. The 7-foot-1 center had his best season last year, achieving season-high averages in points (8.4 per game), rebounds (5.1 per game), and assists (1.5 per game). The 24-year-old will join a crowded frontcourt next season as he will compete for major minutes with the likes of Ed Davis, Mason Plumlee, and Festus Ezeli, which could lead to a decrease in fantasy production.
