Report: Haslem nearing deal with Heat

The Miami Heat are nearing a deal with free-agent power forward Udonis Haslem, according to Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press.

Terms of the deal are not currently known.

After signing as an undrafted free agent in 2003, Haslem has spent the last 13 seasons in Miami, becoming a valuable member of three championship-winning teams.

The 36-year-old averaged just 1.6 points, two rebounds, and 0.4 assists in 37 games for the Heat this past season.

Haslem becomes just the second free agent to re-sign in Miami, with Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng, Joe Johnson and potentially Tyler Johnson all joining other teams.
