LeBron James has expressed his desire to remain in Cleveland, though the Cavaliers still don't have his signature on a new deal.

It's been more than a week since free agency opened and James has reportedly yet to notify the organization when he plans to re-sign, league sources told Chris Hayes of Cleveland.com.

James is currently an unrestricted free agent after declining his player option at the end of last month, though, Hayes notes members of the Cavaliers aren't concerned he'll sign elsewhere, despite his camp not responding when team officials reached out.

After James propelled the Cavaliers to their first championship in franchise history, the Finals MVP proclaimed his desire to remain in Cleveland.

"I love it here. I love being here. I love my teammates," James said. "Obviously my agent will take care of all the logistical things, but I'm happy. I've got no plans to go nowhere at this point."

James' agent acknowledged teams inquired about his client, but were told he wasn't going anywhere.

The 31-year-old averaged 25.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.8 assists in 76 games last season while earning just under $23 million.
