The Portland Trail Blazers agreed to a two-year, $16-million deal with center Festus Ezeli.

Ezeli will earn roughly $7.4 million in the first year, while the Trail Blazers hold a $7.33-million team option for 2017-18. The deal affords Portland the ability to still re-sign restricted free agents Meyers Leonard, Allen Crabbe and Maurice Harkless should they choose to.

The 26-year-old Ezeli is coming off a career year with the Golden State Warriors where he averaged seven points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 46 games (13 starts). He'll likely slide into the backup center role behind Mason Plumlee.

Ezeli is the third new face heading to Portland this offseason. Evan Turner agreed to four-year, $70-million deal, while Shabazz Napier was acquired in a trade from the Orlando Magic.
