Unrestricted free agent Ian Clark reached an agreement on a one-year, guaranteed contract to return to the Golden State Warriors next season.

Clark played 66 games in a Warriors uniform last season, averaging 3.6 points on 44.1 percent shooting in a limited role off the bench.

His most impressive performance came in a losing effort to the Dallas Mavericks on Dec. 30, scoring a season-high 21 points in 23 minutes of action.

Clark is the first free agent the Warriors have managed to keep this offseason. Harrison Barnes is heading to the Dallas Mavericks, Brandon Rush recently inked a deal to join the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Leandro Barbosa is set to begin his third stint with the Phoenix Suns.

The reigning Western Conference champions have made some summer splashes, though, most notably coming to terms with four-time scoring champion Kevin Durant. The Warriors have also locked in veteran big men David West and Zaza Pachulia to deals.
