The Detroit Pistons have signed restricted free agent Boban Marjanovic to a three-year, $21-million offer sheet, ESPN's Marc Stein reports. The San Antonio Spurs will have three days to match.

Marjanovic was one of the league's most efficient players last season in his limited playing time, averaging 21.0 points and 13.7 rebounds per 36 minutes while shooting 60.3 percent from the field. The 27-year-old rookie also posted a player efficiency rating of 27.7 - a figure that would've ranked above Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, and Chris Paul had he qualified.

Should San Antonio fail to match the offer, the Pistons would be receiving a quality third big man on a very affordable contact.
