In order to clear cap space to sign All-Star guard and unrestricted free agent Dwyane Wade, the Chicago Bulls are in the process of completing deals to trade both Jose Calderon and Mike Dunleavy, sources told The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Wade reportedly agreed to join the Bulls on a two-year, $47-million deal if the team can create the necessary cap room. Moving Calderon and Dunleavy would clear roughly $25 million in space.

The Brooklyn Nets are showing interest in acquiring Calderon, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. Should a deal be struck, it's likely the 34-year-old Spaniard would be slotted in as a backup to Jeremy Lin, who recently inked a three-year, $36-million contract.

Chicago landed Calderon, along with Robin Lopez and Jerian Grant, in a trade with the New York Knicks in exchange for former league MVP Derrick Rose, Justin Holiday, and a 2017 second-round draft pick. He averaged 7.6 points and 4.2 assists while shooting 45.9 percent from the field last season in the Big Apple.

Dunleavy has been with the Bulls since 2013, and is entering the second year of a three-year, $14.4-million deal. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks have emerged as potential trade partners, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst and Marc Stein.
