Speculation rampant with Wade hosting morning show Thursday
Perhaps by total coincidence, unrestricted free-agent superstar Dwyane Wade will co-host the popular "LIVE with Kelly" morning TV show on Thursday.
Normally, such an endeavor wouldn't elicit much response from NBA observers, except that Wade may be on the verge of leaving the Miami Heat. Reports surfaced Wednesday night that his hometown Chicago Bulls are attempting to clear salary cap space to add the 34-year-old 12-time All-Star, while another offer from the Denver Nuggets apparently sits on the table.
Whether Wade would use the platform to make a major announcement remains to be seen, but it's also possible he simply co-hosts the show with star Kelly Ripa.
Wade has been dabbling in TV work for a while now, including a well-received run as an analyst on ESPN/ABC's coverage of the 2015 NBA Finals.
Another report, from The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski, indicates that Wade wants a resolution on his contract status by Wednesday night.
