Spurs' Davis Bertans: Agrees to two-year deal with Spurs

Bertans agreed to a two-year deal with the Spurs Wednesday, international basketball writer David Pick reports.

Analysis:

Bertans was the 42nd overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, but has played overseas since then. He tore his ACL in both 2013 and 2014, which served as somewhat of a setback for the 6-foot-10 forward, but it looks like the 23-year-old is now ready to make the transition to the NBA. Bertans averaged 7.9 points over 20 minutes per game playing in Spain last year and boasts a nice touch from outside, hitting 47.4 percent of his threes last season. He will be the second stashed draft pick to make his way over to the Spurs this season, joining Livio Jean-Charles from France.
